Trevello World Holdings in Canada has acquired Gifted Travel Network, a Mooresville, N.C.-based host agency that sits at No. 58 on Travel Weekly’s Power List.
Trevello World Holdings is the parent company of Canadian host agency Trevello Canada. The Gifted acquisition is Trevello’s foray into the U.S. market. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
According to Trevello, Gifted and its brand will remain intact, operating as a division of Trevello World Holdings. Gifted co-founder Jen Cochrane will continue as CEO, and the rest of Gifted’s executive team will remain in place. Both Cochrane and former Gifted owner Meredith Calloway will become shareholders in Trevello World Holdings.
